HURRICANE WILMA UPDATE #2

  • Our city has gone through a very big assessment, coming back stronger not only personally but professionally on retaking our responsibilities as a team to move forward with the development of the most important Tourist Real Estate project.
  • Now days all our collaborators at Puerto Cancún are dedicating their efforts to the cleaning, evaluating damages, rearranging project calendars, administrating and working on building stronger communication channels with our investors who continue to trust and support, the prompt restoration of our City.
  • The interest shown by investors looking to purchase land in the project before the passing of Wilma, has been rectified in their decision to continue the process of acquiring land with our project, this shows the trust of the community towards Puerto Cancún.
  • Being that Puerto Cancún is still on the urbanization stage, the land suffered no major damages after the passing of Wilma.
  • Today, we see Puerto Cancún’s collaborators back in the land working after lending their machinery and staff to the local authorities and Fonatur for the first stage of the cleaning of the City.
  • Also our contractors have reinitiated their labors such as:
    • Concluding the setup of the Electric Circuits on Bonampak Ave. by Engineer Luis Enrique Maradiagas Company
    • Introduction of the Water and Drainage at the interior of the project by DRP Construction Mexico
  • With the objective of consolidating the urbanization of the project, we have called on specialized Companies to participate in a contest that will define the construction of a tank that will storage and regulate de water services.
  • Before the end of the year, distinguished companies will be invited to dispute the urbanization works for the first stage of the residential lots, and the first stage of the mixed lots consisting also in the introduction of the basic services for these areas such as potable water, sanitary services, pluvial drainage, irrigation network, electric power in high and low tension, and public light systems.
  • Puerto Cancún investors, according to their own development plans, pretty soon will start & the ones that already started will continue their construction works. That is the case of Isola Cancun and Cancun Towers.

Cancun is still Standing, and so is Puerto Cancún!
