CANCÚN INITIATES ITS THIRD PHASE OF COMMERCIALIZATION
- 13 condominium, commercial, and hotel lots are available
in the interior of the development.
- Condominiums and commercial lots on Bonampak Avenue are 100%
sold out.
- Only 50 waterfront residential lots are left.
Cancún,
Quintana Roo, Mexico, july 10th, 2005 -Due to its great
success, in less than 13 months since the initial commercialization
of the property, Puerto Cancún is ready to offer for sale
condominium, commercial, and hotel lots located in the interior
of the development. This is the third phase of the commercialization,
following the development of Bonampak Avenue and the single family
homes.
This third phase of commercialization
includes 26 lots that are available for development according
to the projectÕs Master Plan. Because of their privileged location,
they will be of great interest to investors. There are three types
of lots available:
1. Condominium Lots
Puerto Cancún includes the
construction of up to 2,100 residential condominiums, of which
approximately 50% are located on the interior lots of the property.
These spaces range between 5,200 square meters up to 40,000 square
meters, with an average selling price of 390 dollars per square
meter. Specifically:
- High-density condominium lots
These include a view of the ocean and golf course, and amazing
views to the marina. In this section of 10 lots, up to 800 condominiums
can be constructed.
- Medium-density condominium lots
All of these lots enjoy a view of the golf course, and some have
a view of the marina. These six lots will allow up to 190 residential
units.
2. Commercial lots
This zone is a fundamental part
of the Master PlanÑsince these lots will provide all the necessary
services for the more than 4,000 residents of Puerto Cancún.
This will allow residents to have everything they need within
the propertyÑwith no need to look any further. All commercial
lots will have direct access to the marina and/or an unbeatable
view of the golf course and Caribbean Sea.
The shopping center will no doubt
be one of the main attractions of the projectÑbeing the first
of its kind. It will combine all features of a modern shopping
center, including some of the most prestigious brandsÑall surrounded
by a touch of fresh air and the marina.
3. Hotel lots
In addition, the commercialization
of the hotel strip has begun. Within the project, 4,288 rooms
will be built. All the hotels are five-star facilities targeting
golf and boating tourism.

in Puerto Cancún.
LOTS ON BONAMPAK AVENUE
In record time, Puerto Cancún
sold 100% of its 9 commercial lots and 11 condominium lots located
on Bonampak Avenue. These first 20 lots already have basic services.
Homa y Asociados, Salvador Becherano
y Heinz Ketter are only a few of the recognized condominium developers
that have decided to invest in Puerto Cancún. At the moment,
they are developing the executive plans of their projects and
very soon will begin construction.
SINGLE FAMILY LOTS
The sale of these residential lots has had an amazing
acceptance in both local and foreign markets. At this time, there
are only 50 ocean-view lots remaining. With these results, Puerto
Cancún has proven to be the best investment option in single
family homes in the region.
URBANIZATION PROGRESS
The basic infrastructure of the
project has progressed with 95% of navigating channels and 65%
of roads completed. The golf course is currently in the land-clearing
phase, and construction will begin shortly and be completed with
18 months.
Ecological preservation is also
a fundamental part of Puerto Cancún. In 1998, a nursery
was established where more than 90,000 plants of 44 different
species from the region have been rescued. Within the project,
an area of 75 hectares will be destined for ecological preservation.
