HURRICANE WILMA UPDATE

CANCUN, Mexico -- (November 1st.) – Puerto Cancun is currently under development and based on its current construction stage the project does not expect major damages as a result of Hurricane Wilma. The company will have a clearer picture once the water recedes, however expectations include the possibility that some of the already dredged canals may have refilled with sand, setting the construction schedule back for up to two months.

In the meantime, Puerto Cancun has lent most of its equipment and machinery to the municipality and FONATUR in support of the city’s cleaning and restoration process, although we can already see that some third party developers and contractors have resumed working on the project as of today in order to:

  • Conclude all electrical circuits along Bonampak Avenue
  • Continue introduction of water and sewage infrastructure within the terrain.

Our Sales and Administration offices located on Coba Avenue are both open from 9am to 5pm. For more information call: Sales: +52 998 898 3306 / 07, Administration: +52 998 884 7608.
